“THE BOLT”

Welcome to “The Bolt,” our state-of-the-art Baseball and Softball Training Facility spanning over 20,000 square feet. It is designed exclusively for players in Lake County Lightning Baseball (8u-14), IL Lightning Baseball (15u-18u), and IL Lightning Softball (11u-18u). “The Bolt” offers a comprehensive training experience for our student-athletes.

With six dedicated tunnels for pitching and hitting, players have ample space to refine their skills and perfect their technique. Our infield area provides the perfect setting for long toss drills, fielding practice, and infield work, ensuring that players are well-rounded and prepared for any scenario.

In addition to our training areas, “The Bolt” boasts a fully equipped weight room, enabling athletes to build strength, power, and agility essential for peak performance. Our break room, a comfortable oasis for staff, offers a respite from the intensity of training. The waiting area provides monitors, a ping pong table, and ample seating for parents and spectators to watch the action unfold.

At “The Bolt,” we’re committed to providing the latest technology and equipment to enhance player development. Our facility is equipped with a 2.0 Rapsodo system for pitching and hitting analysis, allowing players to receive instant feedback and make real-time adjustments to their game. We also offer a variety of baseball training tools for tee work, agility drills, and more, ensuring that players have access to everything they need to succeed.
